Fiction

We welcome all writers, non-writers, new writers, and anything in between. We want to bring this issue to life. Give us your bold, off-beat, and weird (like really weird) works that speak your truth about our world and bring us together as a community. Help us amplify your voice by splashing your daring ideas on the pages of The Trident! We are so excited to read your pieces (and geek-out over them) and discover how you interpret what it means to come together and seek change despite challenges. We’re ready if you’re ready! (:

Poetry

Have something you need to say / or need to make a point? Submit / your poetry to The Trident! / We want to hear YOUR voice / in a time where we / as a community / may feel silenced. Submit poetry / of any length, content, or / form! Whether it's obscure, / perfectly imperfect, or / even a tad bit offbeat / we want to hear what YOU have / to say! Challenge the norm, and / submit to The Trident today!

Nonfiction

Just as people, there is more to nonfiction than many tend to realize. It can be creative storytelling, sharing a personal truth, sharing experiences, taking a stand on current worldly issues, and more. Whatever it might be, we want to share your voice. Send your creative essays, lyric essays, video essays, goofy stories, fun experiences, whatever it may be. Nonfiction is a place of comfort and a judgment-free space, so we ask that you keep it respectful and most importantly have fun. “Make Your Mark” by submitting to The Trident!

Art

We want to see all styles of art, we are open to anything: photography, drawing, painting, the abstract, the realist, the off-beat, and anything in between.

Graphic Nonfiction & Comics

We want works surrounding major milestones, journeys towards achievements/personal discoveries… Think Kristen Radtke, think Alison Bechdel, think Lydia Conklin. Tell & show us how you got to where you are now!
